ABC in Kenya

ABC Children?s Aid was established in Kenya in fall 2006. Our work is first and foremost among orphans and poor children in the slums of Nairobi. 30% of adults in these slums are HIV positive. There are thousands of orphans and street children in who do not go to school and are in desperate need for help. ABC has rented 4 houses and today (June 2007) there are about 100 children living there. We are also sponsoring 150 children who live in the slums for schooling (school uniform, school fees, one meal a day and health care).
