Recently purchased land for the El Shaddai Childrens Home

Recently the Icelandic Foreign Ministry assisted El Shaddai Children Home to purchase and acquire more land (property). This was a very welcomed addition to the existing land since some unfriendly individuals were about to buy the same piece of land. If these unfriendly individuals would have purchased the land it would have been almost impossible for El Shaddai Childrens Home to remain in their present location, since the only existing road to the home was on this piece of property and a new ownership would have cut off all access to the home. The land which measures 5 acres includes a small lake and a beach with coconut palm trees. The land is very suitable for cultivation.   

Icelandic Ambassador to Great Britin visits El Shaddai Children Home

In March 2004 our nations ambassador to Great Britin was on an officialvisit to India and he paid a visit to El Shaddai Childrens Home. He was well received and got a chance to drink fresh coconut juice from the palmtrees on the new land.   

New housing at El Shaddai Children Home

First part of January 2004 the new housing at El Shaddai was fianally taken into use after waiting for a long time for the electricity to be connected.
