Uganda Australia Foundation was founded in the year 1991 by Trudy and Francis Odida. Trudy is from Australia and Francis from Uganda. They have established and build up an extensive aid ministry which ministers to and takes care of thousands of children. Their main focus has been on aiding AID´S (HIV) victim´s, orphans and poor children to attend school.  

Since 1993 Uganda Australia Foundation has been an assosiator of ABC. Today Icelandic supporters support about 1300 children in Uganda through ABC Children´s Aid. In addition the building cost of the ABC school in Kitetikka has mainly been financed through Icelandic supporters of ABC Children´s Aid and ICEIDA (Icelandic International Development Agency). The school has continued to increase in size and now includes a preschool, primary school and highschool with total attendace of 3507 children.
