In the past few years ABC Childrens Aid has received much recognition of its work and effort both from govermental authorities and private individuals. Today ABC Children´s Aid donates more money to developmental projects abroad than any other organization in Iceland not including the Red Cross of Iceland and Unicef.

The Order of the Falcon

On New Years day 2004 the national president of Iceland Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimson presented Gudrun Margret Palsdottir the originator of ABC Children´s Aid with the Order of the Falcon award. This is a great acknowlegedment of the vision of ABC Childrens Aid and its effort. From the beginning ABC Childrens Aid has been quite successful and we want to thank everyone that has contributed to its success through the years. This great accomplisment would not have been possible without all the large number of volunteers, employees. board members and supporters.
