Housing

The office of ABC Children´s Aid is located in a rent free housing at Síðumúli 29, Reykjavík, Iceland. A supporter of the organization pays for both the electricity and heating for the organization ,

Employees

In the past the office was soley operated (run) by volunteers, but as the organization kept on growing steadily it became necessary to employ paid staff in addition to the voulunteers. The employees receive their salary from a wage fund that was established and serveral businesses and individuals suport on regular bases. This way all salary costs are kept seperted from the operation of the ABC Childrens Aid and does not come from contributions for the children or projects.  

Volunteers

Many volunteers support the organization by working on different projects without receiving any financial support.

Office opperation

The main opperating cost factor for ABC Childrens Aid is runnig the office, establishing a computer system, postage, paper and printing plus banking fees and services. The operation is mostly supported by Christmas card sales, but because of the organizations increased growth there is now a need for additional support.
